June could provide a small relief on the cost of natural gas prices from Columbia Gas.
The company filed a Gas Cost Recovery adjustment of $0.73 per 100 cubic feet.
That would make the average bill around $34.00 per person, but only for those people who purchase their natural gas directly from Columbia Gas.
People who purchase their gas from a third party marketer may not see the savings.
Gas utilities are not allowed to profit on the sail of natural gas to customers.
The GCR represents a significant dip from the same time last year, when the cost was $1.34 per CCF.
