Marion Technical College is now a host test-center for Certified wireless Network Professional (CWNP).

Pearson VUE, the computer-based testing business of Pearson, announced that it has signed a long-term renewal agreement with CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Professional). As of Spring 2009, CWNP examinations are only available throughout the expansive Pearson VUE® Authorized Test Center network worldwide.

The CWNP Program is the industry standard for vendor-neutral wireless network training and certification. CWNP certifications provide IT professionals with a competitive edge, demonstrating an obtained level of expertise regarding wireless LAN infrastructure, regardless of the vendor solution utilized. IT professionals can review for the certification exam via self study, online assistance and through classroom instruction.
