Families on food stamps or state cash assistance will not have to file paperwork for reduced or free lunch.
A federal requirement means the Ohio Department of Education will get a list of families receiving government help, cutting out fall paperwork.
Families that fall within government income guidelines who do not receive food stamps or cash assistance will still have to fill out the paperwork, however.
A family of four with an income less than $39,000 would qualify for free or reduced price lunches, but may still need to fill out the proper forms.
