Ground Beef Recalled, Sold At Kroger

Nebraska Beef of Omaha, Nebraska has recalled 531,707 pounds of ground beef meat due to possible E. coli contamination.

The beef parts were sent to processing plants and wholesalers in Colorado, Texas, Illinois, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New York.

The beef was processed and packed before being distributed in Ohio, among other states.

The products recalled by Kroger stores were sold between May 21st and June 8th.

The shipping containers and product labels have the establishment number of 19336 inside the US Department of Agriculture inspection mark.

23 Ohioans have gotten sick from the E Coli strain O157:H7. 18 of those cases have been in central Ohio.
